Linda Heavilon

Linda C. Heavilon, 65, of Frankfort, IN, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019, at her home.

She was born May 22, 1954, in Frankfort, to Harley E. and Bertie Lou Michael Beard.  On April 22, 1980, she married Jack Heavilon.

Linda had attended Rossville High School and had worked at Wal-Mart, Federal Mogul, National Cigar, and Indiana Brass in Frankfort and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, watching old movies, reading, word searches, jigsaw puzzles and playing Yahtzee.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by two sons, Rob Heavilon and Marc Wood of Frankfort; one daughter, Hollie (Wood) Guffy of Clover, SC; four sisters, Peggy (Gary) Gregory, Nancy (Everett) Emery, and Jennifer (Jeff) Bray of Frankfort and Judy (Lucky) Brown of Rossville; grandchildren, Ravinn Heavilon of Frankfort and Levi Guffy of Clover, SC and one great grandson, Bently A. Langkop of Frankfort.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Darlina Hale.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 -7:00 p.m.  A Funeral service to honor Linda will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at the funeral home with Pastor Philip Jordan officiating.

Memorials in Linda’s name may be made to Clinton County Cancer.
