Linda Marie Ryan, 70, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born January 11, 1943, in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Angelo and Lucy Cotone Lissa. She was formerly married to Fred Clanton and later Charles Ryan.
Linda graduated from Carol Hayden High School in 1961. She then served in the United States Navy from 1961-1963. Linda was a certified medical transcriptionist and worked in medical records the majority of her career. She was an organized and strong willed individual that was quick to judge but faster to love. Linda was a loyal friend and an Italian cook of family recipes.
Surviving Linda are three sons, Steven Ryan, Wayne (Shawna) Ryan, and Mike Ryan; two daughters, Theresa Ryan and Marlene (Juan) Guajardo; and 11 grandchildren, Elena, Daniel, Cheyenne, Brandon, Kimberly, Stevie, Angelina, Sean, Alisha, Elizabeth, and Lauren.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by one grandson, Juan Guajardo Jr.
