Linda P. Oberlander

Linda P. Oberlander, 63, 2220 Golden Oaks N., Indianapolis, died June 2, 2011 at 1:20 PM at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas of Castlemans disease.

Linda was born September 19, 1947 in Lafayette to Chester Paul and Lillie Mae (Mills) Powell.  She graduated from Rossville High School in 1965.  Her marriage was to Allen D. Oberlander, the father of her children.  She was a medical billing specialist for St. Vincent Hospital and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Remington, IN.

Surviving are one daughter, Mia T. Oberlander, Indianapolis, three sons, A. Troy Oberlander, Carmel, Kelley (wife Cristina Agnesi) Oberlander, Zionsville and Chad N. (wife Wendy) Oberlander, Mason, OH, three sisters, Connie J. Trader, Lafayette, Sarah Brown, Casey, IL and Diana J. Owen, Lafayette, one brother, Terry P. Powell, Peru and five grandchildren, Kaden, Kelsey, Ryan, Jeremy & Tayler.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Danny.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 AM at the Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, with Neal Widmer officiating.  Calling will take place for one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be private.
