Lorettia Fern Mullins

Lorettia Fern Mullins, 71, of Frankfort, passed away on February 3, 2014, at her home.    

She was born April 24, 1942, in Casey County, KY, the daughter of Clarence Omer and Hala Jane Wesley Emerson.  On August 8, 1962, she married Taylor Roberts; he preceded her in death July 1982.  In 1986, she married Delbert Dale McCoy who also preceded her in death in 1992.   She later married William Mullins; he preceded her in death October 2012.  

Fern moved to Frankfort in 1965 from Cincinnati, Ohio.  She worked as a cook and waitress in numerous restaurants.  Fern also worked in the private home health care setting.  She attended the Wesleyan Church.  Fern also enjoyed playing cards/games, fishing, and camping.

She is survived by two sons, Calvin Eugene (Sue) Roberts and Taylor (Billy Jo) Roberts; one brother, David Russell Emerson; three grandchildren, William Hooker, Derek Roberts, and Heather Freeman; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and BentLee; and several step-grandchildren.  

In addition to her parents and husbands, Fern was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.  

Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 1 p.m. until the start of the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m.  Burial will follow in Whiteman Cemetery in Michigantown.   Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
