Louise Prickett, 72, of Frankfort, passed away at 8:16 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She was born April 12, 1940, to Walter and Edna (Harshman) Gleason. She married Marvin Prickett, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Prickett was a lifelong area resident and had worked for Emerson Appliance. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR fan. She loved having her grandkids around and was a member of Victory Chapel Church and Eagles lodge.
She is survived by two daughters: Marvina (Daniel) Montgomery of Frankfort and Martha (Steve) McQueen of Lakeland, Fla.; a son: Brian (Annette) Prickett of Delphi; two sisters: Darlene Scott and Patricia Reed; three brothers: James Gleason, Kenneth âBuckâ(Shirley) Gleason, and Phillip Max (Gina) Gleason; 13 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Angel Cox; three sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Genda Funeral Home. Services will start at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Mowery officiating. Burial is in Bunnell Cemetery.
