Lucille Pearson, 94, of Pyrmont and formerly of Lafayette, died at 11:44 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She was born July 13, 1918, in Tippecanoe County, the daughter of John J. and Mary Elizabeth Willis Smith.
On November 27, 1967, she married Emmett G. Pearson in New Port Richey, Fla.; he preceded her in death March of 2000.
Lucille was a housewife and homemaker.
Surviving Lucille are three children, Richard (Sue) Berry of Lafayette, Ronald (Harriett) Berry of rural Lafayette, and Linda Wilson of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert Smith.
Visitation for Lucille will be held at Genda Funeral Home Mulberry Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Rev. Justin Schlesinger-Devlin will officiate. Burial will follow in Pyrmont Cemetery.
