Lucy E. Faulk, 97, of Frankfort died on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Wesley Manor Retirement Community.
She was born June 26, 1915, the daughter of Stanley and Mary Bunnell Pane.
Lucy married Elmer M. Faulk; he preceded her in death.
She worked as a private secretary for Carter Lumber Co. in Frankfort. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Frankfort; she enjoyed singing with the Singing Saints at Wesley Manor, traveling the United States with her husband, and playing Skip Bo.
Surviving Lucy are her daughter Rev. Beverly Faulk and her life partner, Rev. Barbara Ireland; two grandchildren, Kiah Conway and Rayna Conway DeFoor; two great grandchildren, Dante DeFoor, Jr. and Aaylah Conway; sister-in-law, Bonnie Faulk; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service for Lucy will be held on Friday, November 2, 2012, at Wesley Manor Chapel in Frankfort, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Yvonne Brandenburg officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. One hour of visitation will be held prior to the service.
Memorials in Lucyâs name may be made to Wesley Manor Staff Appreciation Fund.
