Marcia K. Hudson

Marcia K. Hudson, 77, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Mulberry Health in Mulberry. She was born November 15, 1943, in Lafayette, to Kenneth and Jacqueline Yeager Weaver. She married David F. Hudson on August 15, 1965; he survives.

Marcia graduated from Mulberry High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Ball State and a master’s degree from Purdue University. She taught English and journalism at Clinton Prairie for twenty-eight years. Marcia enjoyed horseback riding, her dogs, reading, and visiting with her grandchildren. Marcia had been a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, David, Marcia is survived by daughters, Dara (Kent) Chezem of Winamac and Kendra (Mick) Haberzetle of Mulberry, and grandchildren, Avery and Cade Chezem.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 10:00 am until the start of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Genda Funeral Home ~ Mulberry Chapel, 204 N. Glick St., Mulberry. Pastor Stephen Quinlan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry.
