Margaret R. Unger
Margaret R. Unger, 79, of Rossville, formerly of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Milner Community Healthcare.
She was born May 24, 1934, in Boone County, the daughter of Lessel Doyle and Hazel Wilson Louks. On June 1, 1951, she married R. Wayne Unger; he preceded her in death.
Margaret worked as a clerk at Walgreens while living in Florida. Previously, she was a chaplain for Major and Minor League Baseball teams for over 20 years. Margaret was a member of Burlington United Methodist Church and enjoyed baseball and photography.
Surviving are one son, Bruce (fiancé, Victoria) Unger of Frankfort; two grandsons, David (wife, Tawnya) Unger and Alan (wife, Erica) Unger; four great granddaughters, Lexi, Josie, Kylie, and Allie; three great grandsons, Zack, Garrett, and Zion; two nieces and three nephews.
In addition to her husband, Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Gladys Wamsley; one brother, Randy Louks; and one granddaughter, Rachel Padfield.
