Marie Francis Seigfried, 88, of Mulberry, died on Sunday, September 9, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.

She was born April 12, 1924, in Wisconsin, the daughter of Jay and Edith (Anderson) Bull.

She married Max L. Seigfried; he preceded her in death in December, 2008.

Marie was a manager at Dayton Bank later known as Lafayette National Bank of Dayton from 1949-1989.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, attending flea markets, being active on the farm with her husband and sons, and being a grandma.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert & Vickie Seigfried and Jay & Donna Seigfried; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Maggie Roberts, Barb & Bob Bandy, and Nancy & John Gaylor; five grandchildren, Angie (Andy) Messer, Amy (Kevin) Hysong, Katie (Joel) Spellar, Ryan Seigfried, and  Melissa (Richard) Sargent; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jake, and Ethan Messer; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, William Roberts.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Fair Haven Cemetery in Mulberry at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marie’s name may be made to Clinton County Humane Society.
