Marjorie Gorham Lasley Brooks, 79, of formerly of 650 Outer Dr. in Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Clinton House Health and Rehab Center.

She was born on April 5, 1936, in Kirklin to Jean and Clara Loveless Gorham.  In 1954, Marjorie married Harold Lasley; he passed away in 1960.  She then married Billy Brooks in 1991; he preceded her in death in 2010.

Marjorie attended Kirklin Schools and later achieved her GED.  She retired in 2003 after working over 30 years in the assembly department of Mallory Controls.  Marjorie was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Surviving are two daughters, Vickey Lasley of Frankfort, and Susan Lasley (Mark) Cafouras of Lisbon, OH; and three sisters, Betty Turner of New Ross, Martha Park, of Altoona, WI, and Judy Gorham of Frankfort.

In addition to her husbands, Marjorie is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Cook; and one brother, Richard Gorham.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 p.m. to the start of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m.  Elder Bruce Bridgeham will officiate.  Memorials in Marjorie’s name may be made to Clinton County Humane Society or Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
