Marjorie Mae ""Marge"" Wolf

Marjorie Mae “Marge” Wolf, 91, of Rossville, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at her home.

She was born November 14, 1921, in Fairview, MO, the daughter of Segal Ryan and Florence Montgomery Ivie; her parents precede her in death.  On August 20, 1941, Marge married Wilbert P. Wolf in Fairview; he survives.

Marge graduated from Fairview (MO) High School in 1939.  She worked at The Juvenile Shop in Lafayette for three years, Montgomery Ward for several years, Wilson’s Jewelry Store in Frankfort, McClure’s Drug Store in Rossville for three years and Milner Community Health Care Center for six years.  Marge was a member of Rossville Presbyterian Church since 1952, member of the Order of the Eastern Star Helen Bonebrake Chapter #437, member of Rossville American Legion Auxiliary for 58 years, and former member of Mother’s Club.

In addition to her husband, Marge is survived by one daughter, Paula Rae Wolf Davis and companion, Dale Pettiner, of Delphi; one grandson, Troy A.W. Davis of Holyoke, MA; one granddaughter, Melissa D. (Lloyd) Norman of Delphi; one great grandson, Stewart R. McVay; one great granddaughter, Kadi D. McVay; one brother, Joe Ivie of Salida, CA; one sister, Frances Wray of Lawrence, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Marge will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the funeral home with Pastor John Everett officiating.  Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery.  Memorials in Marge’s name may be made to Rossville Presbyterian Church.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
