Martha "Ann" (Flood) Godbey

Martha “Ann” Godbey, 72, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born June 16, 1952, in Frankfort to Leslie Elmer and Geneva (Hill) Flood. She married Jeff Fisher and later divorced. She then married to Lee Lanning, and they divorced. She married Steve Godbey and he preceded her in passing. 

Ann was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School, class of 1970. She worked for Fairfield Manufacturing in Lafayette for many years. She enjoyed cooking, listening to country and Christian music, and dancing. She also loved spending time with her dog, Mr. Shivers. Although she was one that enjoyed her time alone, she loved spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her children, James Calvin (Kris) Fisher of Idaho, Shane Alan Lanning of Indianapolis, and Sheri Ann (Jason) Hardy of Noblesville; sister, Patricia (Michael) Manion; special sister, Connie Hill; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Steve; she was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jo Ella Tillis, Gene Flood, Charles Flood, Robert Livingston, Alan Livingston, and Ronnie McClure.

Per Ann’s request, there will be no public services. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with arrangements.
