Martha Jeanie Ely

Martha “Jeanie” Ely, 67, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital.  

She was born December 19, 1946, in Frankfort, the daughter of Orville and Helen Marie Macatee Ely, and Bert and Ola Jean Spencer.  

Jeanie was a life-long resident of Frankfort.  She attended the Apostolic Church.  

Surviving Jeanie are two brothers, Bruce (Sue) Spencer and Bert Spencer, both of Frankfort; best friend, Susie Williamson; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Wint Spencer; one sister, Terry Lynn Spencer; and best friend, Christine Barker.  

Visitation for Jeanie will be held at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort on Monday, May 5, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until the beginning of the funeral services at 1:00 p.m.   Pastor Robert Hackler will officiate.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorials in Jeannie’s name may be made to Clinton County Humane Society.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
