Martha Park

Martha Park, 79, formerly of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015, at her home in Altoona, WI.

Martha was born on April 5, 1936, in Kirklin, to Jean and Clara (Loveless) Gorham. She attended Kirklin High School.  

She married Lilburn Park on March 5, 1954; they later divorced.

Later in her life, Martha worked at P.R. Mallory and Walmart. Martha loved to paint and sew. She also loved her cats dearly.

Surviving Martha are her children, Leonard Park and Larry Park, both of Thorntown, Rose Park, of Medford, WI, Lester (Mia) Park, of Abbotsford, WI, Julia (James) Poncek of Gleason, WI, Christopher Park of Eau Claire, WI, and Sandra Spradling, Frankfort; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Turner and Judith Gorham.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard Gorham; and sisters, Mary Cook and Marjorie Brooks.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 1:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m.  Inurnment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Kirklin.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
