Mary Kay Larsen-Conrad, 84, of Mulberry, died at 2:16 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011, in St. Elizabeth Central hospital, Lafayette.
Born Sept. 4, 1926, in Tennessee, to the late Callie Sadler and Edith Leona Wilson Sadler, graduated from high school in Tennessee.
Mrs. Larsen-Conrad was a nurse, previously working at Wabash Valley Hospital, Pythian Home Extended Care and retired from Heritage Health Care in West Lafayette in 1995. She moved to Mulberry from West Lafayette in 1995.
She enjoyed yard work, gardening, cooking, listening to country music and loved animals.
Surviving are two daughters, Jackie Larsen of Mulberry and Kathy Reynolds (husband: John) of Mattoon, Ill.; and one son, Jim Bowers (wife: Betty) of Baltimore, 11 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren,.
Her husbands, Dean Bowers and Jack Larsen, one son, Gary Wayne Bowers, two sisters, Agnes Sadler and Edith Sadler, and a brother, Channie Sadler preceded her in death.
The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
