Mary L. Smith, 84, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Wesleyan Health Care in Marion.
She was born September 30, 1931, in Frankfort, to Everett and Ruth Iola Myers Smart. She was formerly married to William Harrison.
Mary attended Rossville High School and worked for Foster Forbes in Marion for over 26 years.
Surviving Mary are her children, Philip E. (Teri) Harrison of Sedalia, William H. Harrison of Lafayette, and Darlene (Rick) McCollum of Frankfort; sisters, Diana Griffith, Phyllis Farmer, and Kathy Brauner; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, three children, Marianne, Ricky L. and Ruth Irene; brother, Everett L. Smart; sisters, Esther Ruth Smart and Leila Hunter; and granddaughter, Alisha.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. at Kilmore Cemetery in Kilmore. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
