Mary M. Martin, 94, of Frankfort, died on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11:55 am.

She was born December 30, 1917, in Covington, the daughter of John and Leota Bilsand Johnk.

She served in the United States Army during World War II.  After graduating from Indiana State University in Terre Haute with her Master’s in Education, she taught at Jefferson Elementary School as she enjoyed teaching and working with children.  She enjoyed spending her time going to Great Finds, Goodwill stores, and Ponderosa Steak House.  

Surviving are one son and his companion, John Stull and Deborah Thompson; two grandchildren, Christopher Stull and his companion, Lesa Shields, and Ryan and Becky Stull; and six great grandchildren, Amber Stull, Chase Stull, Nathan Stull, Jimmy Thompson, Nicolas Stull, and William Stull.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David Martin.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Green Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel in Frankfort from 10 am until the funeral service at 10:30 am.  Entombment will follow.

Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
