Mary Stewart-Clark, 84, formerly of 504 N. Columbia, Frankfort died at 1:35 a.m. May 10, 2011, at Heritage Hospice in Marietta, Ga.
Mrs. Stewart-Clark was born on Sept. 22, 1926 in Frankfort to Elmer Orton and Iva Viola (Disinger) Robertson. She married Dale Stewart in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1991. She married Roger Clark on Nov. 28, 2002 and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2006.
She worked at a nursing home and was bookkeeper and co-owner of Frankfort Home Decorating Center. She attended Bible Holiness Church.
Surviving are one son, Jimmy (wife Teresa) Stewart of Woodstock, Ga.; two step-sons, Tom (wife Linda) Clark of Frankfort and James Clark of Cookeville, Tenn.; four step-daughters, Lois (husband John) Rice of Carthage, Tenn., Mary (husband Stan) Townsend of Elwood, Laura Clark of Cookeville, Tenn. and Emily (husband Jimmy) of Harlingen, Texas; four grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, David, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. May 16, 2011 at Genda Funeral Home. Dr. James Keaton and Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate the service. Entombment will occur in Green Lawn Mausoleum. Calling will occur from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 15, 2011, at the funeral home.
