Mary Louise Voltz, 89, of Frankfort, passed away at her daughterâs home on Thursday morning, June 9, 2016.
Mary was born in Ridge Township, Van Wert County, Ohio on July 10, 1926 to John Herbert and Bernice (Ringwald) Davies. She graduated from Ridge High School in Van Wert County, Ohio in 1944. On June 4, 1949 she married her husband, Bob Voltz, who preceded her in death on November 25, 1996. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with their lawn mowing business. She was also employed by Clinton Prairie High School Cafeteria. She was a member of the Antioch Church along with Womenâs Fellowship. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Mary was active in THE AWANA Group of the church. She worked with the Clinton County election sights serving as a judge. She also enjoyed meeting with the Chat and Chew, a group of retirees from the Clinton Prairie High School Cafeteria.
Survivors include her children, David Brent (Cindy) Voltz of Meredith, NH, Karen Sue (William) McCoskey of Seattle, WA, Kathryn Jane Creasy (Tim Ragan) of Noblesville; five grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Miller, Joshua Creasy, Julie (Bill) Briley, Bill and Joe McCoskey; one great-grandchild, Moses Briley.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bob; one son Daniel Ronald Voltz,; four sisters, Lois Jean Davies, Phyllis Gwynne Wuttke, Marion Moorman and Shirley Ann Harter.
Visitation for Mary will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 â 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 16, 2016, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor David Klipp officiating. Burial will be at Buntin Cemetery. Memorials can be made in Mary Voltzâs name to the Antioch Church or The American Heart Association.
