Mary Willie Goss, 78, of Frankfort, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Wesley Manor.
She was born Nov. 14, 1933 in Harlan County, Ky., to William Isaac and Annie Lee (Stewart) Daniel. She married Thomas Paul Goss Dec. 11, 1948 in Pineville, Ky. He preceded her in death Sept. 27, 1989.
Mrs. Goss was a homemaker, who moved to Frankfort in 1996 and had previously lived in Plainfield, Indianapolis and Kentucky. She was a member of Faith Family Ministries and volunteered in the school reading program.
She is survived by three daughters: Joyce (Bob) Cunningham of Frankfort, Mary Ruth Spellman of Lebanon and Geneva Haium of Plainfield; a son, William James (Phyllis) Goss of Sheridan; seven sisters: Dorothy (Bill) Davis of Frankfort, Lovie Daniel of Smith, Ky., Beatrice Warren of Corbin, Ky., Charlotte Jenkins of Smith, Ky,; Maxine (John) Oberholtzer, Corbin; and one brother, James Daniel of Smith Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Gary Ray Goss, two sisters, Ruth Clem, Jean Hyden, two grandchildren, Ricky Goss & Gary Ray Royce, and one great-grandchild, Chelsea Cobbs.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at Genda Funeral Home, with Chaplin Ron Mann officiating. Visitation is 9-11 a.m. before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Wesley Manor
