Maxine J. Albaugh, 86, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
She was born May 21, 1928, in Frankfort, to Leo and Flossie Sellars Leger. On December 22, 1945, she married Richard Lee Albaugh; he preceded her in death on August 18, 2008.
Maxine graduated from Frankfort Senior High School. She worked as a builder at Mallory Controls for 35 years before her retirement in 1994. Maxine was a loving mother to her children while passing on the joy of puzzles.
Surviving Maxine are two sons, Phillip (Cathy) Albaugh of Kokomo, and Rodney (Tina) Albaugh of Frankfort; three daughters, Linda (Gary) Reynolds and Jill (Mike) Dobson, both of Frankfort, and Pam Kinsler of Delphi; one sister, Freida Rivers of South Carolina; two brothers, Bing Leger and Leo Leger, both of Kokomo; ten grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, one son, John Albaugh; and one brother, John Leger.
Visitation for Maxine will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 â 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014, at the funeral home.
