Maynelle Fossnock, 91, formerly of rural Delphi, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016, at Creasy Springs in Lafayette.
She was born July 25, 1924, in Tippecanoe County, to Albert and Mable Laurette Bolyard Mills. On September 29, 1946, she married Dale E. Fossnock in Mulberry; he passed away on October 14, 2009.
Maynelle lived in the Monitor area until 1934, moved to the Mulberry area until after her graduation from Dayton High School in 1942, and then lived north of Pyrmont in rural Delphi. She was a homemaker and former member of both the Pyrmont United Methodist Church and United Methodist Womenâs Group.
Surviving Maynelle are one son, Kevin Dale Fossnock of Delphi; daughter, Pamela Sue (Ronald) Smith of Westerville, OH; three grandchildren, Melinda (David) Ridley, Lt. Colonel Michael (Kelly) Smith, and Suzanne (Jeff) Thompson; and 14 great grandchildren, Ryan, Meagan, Melanie, and Reid Ridley, Faith, Elijah, Isaiah, Sarah, Micah, Joshua and Rachel Smith, Logan, Lincoln and Gunner Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home-Rossville Chapel. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow in Pyrmont Cemetery. Memorials in Maynelleâs name may be made to Pyrmont Cemetery.
