Melanie Reelitz

Melanie Darice Reelitz, 62 of Flora, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon.  She was born in Indianapolis on February 23, 1956 to Calvin and Birdie Lorelle (Jackson) Minglin.  She married the late Kevin Reelitz June 18, 1995 in Collinsville, IL. 

Melanie was a 1974 graduate of Twin Lakes High School and attended University of Sothern Illinois.  She worked as a secretary and was a member of Lafayette Church of Christ.

She is survived by her siblings, Valerie Hughes of Lebanon and Clint (Kurtina) Minglin of Monticello and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kevin Minglin.

Visitation will be held from 12pm until the time of the service at 2pm Friday, April 20, 2018 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Burial will take place at a later date at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
