Melanie Rose Clouser

Melanie Rose Clouser, 34, died in Lafayette of medical complications Tuesday morning November 6, 2012.

Melanie was born September 29, 1978 in Adelaide, South Australia to MSgt Phillip (USAF) and Janice M. (White) Clouser while he was stationed in Australia.  As she grew older, Melanie was very proud of her “dual citizen” status and planned to visit the “Land of her Birth.”  She graduated Frankfort Schools in 1999.

Melanie is survived by her parents, two children, Joshua and Maliah, of Frankfort.  She is also survived by four brothers, Brian, Daniel, Patrick (Amber) and John, all of Frankfort, and two sisters, Karen Clouser and Victoria Price, both of Frankfort, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, with the rosary service beginning at 3:30 p.m.  Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort with Fr. Chris Miller presiding.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
