Michael Elliott Hill

Michael Elliott “mohill” Hill, 72, of Frankfort, passed away at his home surrounded by family, Sunday, July 12, 2020.  He was born November 18, 1947 in Frankfort to Charles and Lucille (Castle) Hill.   Over the years, Mo worked several jobs, including, Sun Chemical, Wilderness Trailer Manufacturer, Castle Auto Parts, and was known to do some carpentry work on the side.

Mo was  a unique man, recognized around town by his long hair and reflective sunglasses.  He was a gifted artist and enjoyed music and cars. He had an extensive music collection of over 10,000 vinyl records, of which he could tell you all the details of each record.  He could be found often at J&L Records expanding his Beatles collection.  And while he enjoyed collecting records, his love was for his family and his Lord.  Mo loved studying scripture through the Les Feldick Bible Ministries and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Mo is survived by his children, Amber (Eric) Hickman of Iowa, Josh (Angelica) Hill of Frankfort, Cody (Rachel) Hill of Frankfort, Annissa (Jeff) Meyer of Antioch, Christal Brown of Frankfort and Amy (Kyle) Evans of Jefferson; a brother, Everett Hill of Frankfort; sister-in-law, Nancy Lemen of Mechanicsburg; 15 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren with 2 on the way and his faithful furry companion, Sgt. Pepper.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 16, from 5-7pm at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  A private family service will be held at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family, care of the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
