Michael LeRoy Wells

Michael LeRoy Wells, 57, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born November 2, 1956, in Frankfort, the son of Frank and Pam Smith Wells.  He married the former Angela S. Rallas; she preceded him in death October 18, 2013.

Michael was a lifelong Frankfort resident.  He graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1974, and remained in the area as a self employed roofer and contractor.  He enjoyed camping, mushroom hunting, and fishing.

Surviving Michael are two step daughters, Joni Johnson and Misty Bluemke; three sisters, Jackie (Jerry) Fudge, Carol (Marty) Cornell, and Kim Curl (Parrish Adams); one brother, Frank (Harmony) Wells Jr.; and four step grandchildren, Blake Eaton, Payton Johnson, Dylan Wiles, and Remington Wiles.

In addition to his wife, Michael is preceded in death by his parents, step mother, Mary Wells; and one step grandson, Ezekiel Wiles.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorials may be made to help the family with final expenses.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
