Michael R. Herr, 56 of 1031 Roberts St., Lafayette, Indiana died on Monday, December 27, 2010, at 2:07 PM at Lafayette Emergency Care, Lafayette, Indiana.
A lifelong resident of Lafayette, he was a member of Mulberry Masonic Lodge #618 since 2001 and a member of American Legion Post #11 in Lafayette. He was active with Cloud Jockeys of Lafayette, a remote control aircraft club and enjoyed fishing. Mike, being a skilled woodworker, owned and operated a wood canoe building business.
He was born on July 17, 1954 to Mary Theresa Taylor Herr.
Surviving are two sons, Cody Lee (wife Heather) Herr of Clarksville, TN and Joseph Miles Herr of Lafayette, IN, one sister, Kathy (husband Jim) LaPointe of Mulberry, IN and loving companion, Starla Robinson.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 31, at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday.
