Mildred L. Danner

Mildred L. Danner, 73, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Signature Healthcare at Parkwood in Lebanon.  She was born in Cumberland County, KY on August 22, 1947 to Albert L. and Velma (Long) Scott. 

Mildred graduated from Frankfort High School in 1966 where she was crowned Homecoming Queen.  After graduation, she continued her education and received a degree in cosmetology.  She then started her career in hairdressing, becoming the owner and operator of Millie’s Hair Studio.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church where she enjoyed attending bible study.  First and foremost, she loved being a mother. 

Mildred is survived by her sister, Mary Goodwin of Frankfort and her brother-in-law, Ben Eikenberry of Cochiti Lake, New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Herbie Danner; sisters, Beatrice Hughes, Hazel Affolter, and Edie Eikenberry; brothers, Ray Scott and Dean Scott; nieces, Brenda Monroe, Dorothy Flintcraft, and Pearl Bailey; and nephew, Ed Hughes.

Private services will be held at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
