Morris M. ""Butch"" Taber

Morris M. “Butch” Taber, 51, of Rossville, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014, at his home.

He was born July 15, 1962, in Jasper, to Leslie Dwight and Patricia “Pat” Flick Taber.

Butch graduated Westfield High School in 1981.  He worked with his brother setting modular homes.  He enjoyed remote control cars, painting figurines and playing computer games.

In addition to his mother, Butch is survived by his companion, Julie Haws; sister, Connie K. Ryan of Elwood; and brothers, Robert E. (Margie) Taber of Texas and Michael L. Taber (fiancé, Cheryl) of rural Rossville.

Visitation for Butch will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 2:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m.  Pastor Brian White will officiate.  Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery.  Memorials in Butch’s name may be made to the donor’s choice.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
