Nancy Kay Davison, 74, of Mulberry, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born October 5, 1939, in Clinton County, to Earl and Ethel Metzger Landes. On December 1, 1962, she married Charles R. Davison at Duncan Hall in Lafayette; he survives.
After graduating Mulberry High School in 1957, Nancy received her degree in bookkeeping from Indiana Business College. Nancy worked at Mulberry Phone Company and later as a bookkeeper for Haywood Publishing Company. Later in her life, she worked for the American Heart Association and Geo Specialty Chemicals. Nancy was a member of Living Hope Fellowship, Congregation of Grace Communion International, in Lafayette. She was active with fundraising for the American Heart Association and participated in Relay for Life in Clinton County. She was a member of Mulberry Community Club where she was both a former secretary and treasurer. Nancy was proud of her family and her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her daughters, Annette Lynn Davison (fiancée, James Salerno) and Rebecca (Dara) Johnson; sister, Clara Cooper; sisters-in-law, Brenda Landes and Paula Carithers; four grandchildren, Kaitlin Johnson, Amber Livengood, Brittany Livengood, and Ethan Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dave Landes and Ed Landes.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home Mulberry Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to the start of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor David Perry will officiate.
