Nancy ""Anderson"" Petrey, Age 72 of Woodbine, Ky, passed away August 7, 2014, at Baptist Health in Lexington.
She was born June 28, 1942 in Harlan, Ky to the late Alonzo Payton, and Ola Elliott Payton. She attended Frankfort High School in Indiana, former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, graduate of House of James Beauty School, and a instructor, member of the Delta Cigma Kappa sorority, owner operator of the Nice and Neat Beauty Shop, members of American Legion Honor Guard Post #1088, Moose Lodge #7, AmVet, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by; husband Dennis Anderson, son Anthony Anderson, sister, Corine Petrey, and brother, Jerry Payton.
Nancy is survived by; husband, Clinton Petrey of Woodbine, Ky, daughter, Tammy Peterson, and husband Troy, of Frankfort, In, stepson, Lanny Petrey, and wife Debra of Woodbine, Ky, stepdaughter, Kathy Hinkle, and husband Benny, of Corbin, Ky, two sisters, Louise Harmon of Woodbine, Ky, Sarah Francis Messer, and husband Lundy Johnny, of Woodbine, Ky, three grandchildren, Austin Judge, Chip Anderson, and Stephani Anderson, two great-grandchildren, and several step grand and great grandchildren to mourn her passing.
Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Mike Weglicki officiating, with burial Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, In.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancyâs name may be made to St Jude Children Foundation.
