Naomi L. Bohm, 95, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born November 3, 1921, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Everett and Etta Meeks Knapp. Naomi was formerly married to William R. Burton. On June 26, 1966, she married Norman Bohm; he preceded her in death on September 12, 2001.
Naomi was a receptionist and phone operator at P.R. Mallory for 22 years before retiring in the early 1980âs. She was a member of Woodside Christian Church, Moose Lodge Womenâs Auxiliary for over 50 years, and Order of the Eastern Star. Naomi loved Colts football and her card games. She loved being with her grandchildren.
Surviving Naomi are one son, Stephen Burton, of Indianapolis; daughter Susan Burton Zell, of Frankfort; grandchildren, Dan (Carrie) Cunningham, Steve Cunningham, and Melissa (Richard III) Campbell; great-grandchildren, Dereck, Kylie, Sean, Catelyn, Hailey, Chloe, and Madison; and one great-great-grandson, Mason.
In addition to her husband, Naomi is preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Lanier, Doris Hazlett, and Janet Skonberg.
Visitation for Naomi will be held at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, on Monday, December 12, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Jill Carroll will officiate.
