Norman J. âFudgeyâ Fudge, 84, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.
He was born August 23, 1931, in Frankfort, to Chester Fudge and Mary Gertrude Jordan Cohee. Norman married Katie Lou Harrison; she preceded him in death on February 13, 1999.
Norman graduated from Michigantown High School where he played basketball. He worked at Peter Paul and later retired from Sun Chemicals. Norman enjoyed horses and buggies. He was a former member of the Free Pentecostal House of Prayer.
Surviving Norman are two sons, Jerry (Jackie) Fudge of Michigantown, and Kelly (Lisa) Fudge of Covington; daughter, Trudy (Jerry) Randolph of Frankfort; step children, Marsha Hofstra of Florida, Douglas (Amy) Camp of North Carolina, Jim (Gina) Camp of Indiana, and Holly Cornell of Indiana; step sister, Phyllis Bates; four grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his dear friend, Rosella Maxine Gardener.
In addition to his wife, Norman is preceded in death by his parents, step brothers, Harold and William Cohee; and half-brother, Richard Cohee.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 12:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor James Barnard will officiate.
