Patricia Ann Holloway, 82, formerly of Colfax died at 12:43 a.m. May 9, 2011 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Mrs. Holloway was born April 16, 1929 in Glen Ellyn, Ill. to the late James Willard and Florence (Pixley) Love. She married William Curtis Holloway on Jan. 27, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1988.

She was co-owner of the Knit Wit Shop and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Colfax United Methodist Church, Purdue Extension Homemakers and Aftermath. She graduated from Glenbard High School and received a bachelor’s degree in home economics from Purdue University; traveled extensively, visiting countless countries; supported Friends of the Library, the Boys & Girls Club, the Humane Society and the YMCA.

Surviving are three sons, James Curtis (Wife Beverly) Holloway of Virginia Beach, Va., Richard Thomas (Wife Karen) Holloway of Fayetteville, Ga. and William David (Wife Susan) Holloway of East Lansing, Mich.; one brother, James Love of San Jose, California; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Colfax United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Wagner and Pastor Peggy Good officiating. Calling will occur from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will occur in Plainview Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Clinton County Boys and Girls Club.
