Patricia C. Mummert

Patricia C. Mummert, 64, of Bringhurst, passed away at her residence, Wednesday, April 18, 2018.  She was born July 18, 1953 in Logansport to Paul and Dorothy Gertrude (Heuser) Achor.  She graduated from Carroll County High School in 1971.  On February 26, 1972 she married Thomas Mummert and he survives.

Pat worked for 20 years at Subaru-Isuzu of America and for Zinn Kitchens for 16 years.  She was a member of Bringhurst United Methodist Church and Women’s Missionary Services of the Brethren Church.  She enjoyed cross stitch, being a pre-school teacher and raising her children.

Along with her husband, Pat is survived by her children, Brian J. (Julie) Mummert of Cutler and Alan J. (An) Mummert of Columbus; brothers, Donald (Cledia) Achor of FL, Dean (Patsy) Achor of Delphi; sisters, Dolores (Glen) Lambert of ND and Pam (Jerry) Francis of Flora; and grandchildren, James, Benjamin and Isabel Mummert.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Peg Wyatt.

Visitation will be held 2-6pm, Sunday April 22, 2018 at Bringhurst United Methodist Church. 

Funeral services will be 10:30am, Monday, April 23, 2018 at the church.  Pastor Dan Heredeen will officiate.  Arrangements are with Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Step Preschool or the Carroll County American Cancer Society.
