Patricia L. Byrne, 80, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014, at her home.

She was born January 26, 1934, in Connersville, the daughter of Emerson C. and Thelma L. Flanigan Traylor.  On December 18, 1954, she married Phillip L. Byrne; he preceded her in death May 3, 1995.

Pat graduated from Thomas Carr and Howe High School in 1952.  She moved to Frankfort in 1954.  Pat worked as a manager for Roslyn Bakery before her retirement on February 14, 1999.  Pat was a member of Community Christian Church and Frankfort FOP Auxiliary.

Surviving Pat are her children, Gregory Alan (Perri) Byrne of Fairview Heights, IL, Charles Richard (Sarah) Byrne of Frankfort, and Constance Marie “Connie” (Mark) Dreisbach of Frankfort; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Traylor of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Pat is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard L. Traylor.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at Community Christian Church in Frankfort, from 11:00 a.m. to the start of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m.  Pastor Tim Grasham will officiate.  Memorials in Pat’s name may be made to Community Christian Church.  Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
