Patricia Marlene ""Pat"" Carson

Patricia “Pat” Marlene Carson, 71, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at IU Health North in Carmel.    

She was born November 16, 1942, in Clinton County, the daughter of William E. and Martha Crockett Culley.  On April 9, 1961, she married William J. Carson, spending 53 years together; he survives.  

Pat was a homemaker and mother of five children.  She attended Victory Chapel.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing bingo and going to casinos.  Pat was also a Colts fan and enjoyed NASCAR.    

She is survived by five children, Angela Scott, Sandra Carson, Daniel Carson, William E. (Renae) Carson, and Jason L. (Gena) Carson; one brother, William (Wanda) Culley; eight grandchildren, Josh, Chad, Gavin, Cierra, Alyssa, Dylan, Nick, Kaitlan, and Chloe; four great-grandchildren; her two dogs, Bonnie and Clyde; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Culley and Francis Culley; and one sister, Kathleen Sharp.  

Visitation for Pat will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 4-7 pm.  Funeral service will begin at 10 am on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the funeral home with Brother Lewis Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorials may be made in Pat’s name to Clinton County Humane Society.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
