Patrick W. Slater
Patrick W. Slater, 82, of Mulberry, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born November 2, 1930, in Bullwinkle, Penn., the son of Stephen and Mary Ann Bristley Slater. Patrick married the former Karen Gunning; she preceded him in death in November, 2010.
Patrick served in the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of Cartridge Source. Patrick enjoyed golfing and hunting.
Patrick is survived by three children, Brian Slater, Patrick (Robin) Slater II, and Scarlett (Seth) Hunt; one sister, Alice Davis; four grandchildren, Caroline Slater, Patrick Slater III, Colin Slater, and Prior Hunt; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, and ten brothers and sisters.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
