Paul Richard Emmelman

Paul Richard Emmelman, 61, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on February 19, 2025. He was born June 19, 1963, in Indianapolis to Paul and Patricia (Hayes) Emmelman.  

Paul was a graduate of Frankfort Senior High School, class of 1982. He worked for Custom Medical and then was the owner of Emmelman Enterprises, doing tile and hardwood flooring. He enjoyed watching football, tinkering, having cookouts and family gatherings, and spending time with his dogs and family. He was known for his ability to fix anything and being a jack of all trades. He was always there to help others however he could and would never take anything in return. 

Paul is survived by his children, Brooke (Devin) Bitner, Paul R. Emmelman IV, Amber (Kyle) Malicoat, Amanda Emmelman; sisters, Cheryl Peacock, Cathy (Phil) Cox, Patty (Mark) Nauman, Becky (Chuck) McGinsie, Linda (John) Eckles; mother of his children, Eulalia Davis; and grandchildren, Kiyomi, Keaton, Kynlee, Odin; his best friend, Tom Fenwick; and his dogs, Trip and Lady and cat, Tigger.

He was preceded in passing by his parents; and a daughter, Ashley Emmelman.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 11am at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Burial will take place at 3pm at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
