Paul Eugene Mitchell

Paul Eugene Mitchell, 70, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at Franciscan Health East in Lafayette. He was born March 22, 1954, in Frankfort to Hobart James Mitchell and Martha Louise (Miller) Sterns. He married Diana McIntosh on November 19, 1977, and she survives.

Paul attended Frankfort Senior High School before entering the United States Marines. Paul worked for Fontana Fasteners for over 30 years until his retirement in 2018. He was a member of the County Line Fishing Club and the East Side Assembly of God in Lafayette. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering, going to sprint car races, watching NASCAR, camping, and being outdoors. He loved his dog, Buster, and his true love was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandpa. He was a witty man with a lot of stories to share and a dad joke ready to tell. 

Along with his wife of 46 years, Paul is survived by his children, Anthony Joseph (Kasey) Mitchell, Alisha (Louis) Kelly, Sara (Anthony) Lozano, and Joshua (Tressie) Mitchell; siblings, Beverly Rogers, Kenny (Sally) Mitchell, Jerry Mitchell; grandchildren, Kyrsten Teltoe, Kelsey Mitchell, Jade Ciaffone, Damian Kelly, Jayden Ciaffone, Breana Lozano, Max Lozano, Raleigh Mitchell and Nora Mitchell; and great grandchild, Kohen Teltoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Judy Mitchell, Connie Waters.
