Paul Robbins

Paul D. Robbins, 71, of Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly, on September 13, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Frankfort, on December 11, 1948, to Arthur “Bud” and Opal (Swaby) Robbins. He married Rebecca “Becky” Walker on August 12, 1972 at the First Christian Church in Frankfort; she survives.

Paul was a 1966 graduate of Clinton Prairie High School and a member of the Antioch Church. He retired in 2008 from Frito-Lay and had also worked for  CTS in Lafayette and P.R. Mallory in Frankfort. Becky always said “you can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy” and with that, he always enjoyed farming. He enjoyed antiques, especially antique farm machinery, fishing, auctions, wintering in Fort Myers Beach, volunteering on Tuesdays at Food Finders in Lafayette, but he especially enjoyed restoring his 1946 Dodge grain truck.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by a daughter, Megan (Dustin) Smothers of Kenosha, WI; brothers, James Robbins of Mechanicsburg and Jack (Jeannie) Robbins of Antioch.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and sister in law Janet.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Antioch Church at 4625 South St. Rd 39, Frankfort. Private burial will be at a later date.
