Paula K. Adams

Paula K. Adams, 67, of Clarks Hill, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Sycamore Springs in Lafayette.

She was born June 22, 1947, in Frankfort, to Paul E. and Clara Irene Carney Phillips.  On August 5, 1967, she married Jim Adams; he survives.

Paula graduated Frankfort High School in 1965, and received her associate’s degree from Indiana Business College.  After 20 years at Purdue University, she retired from the Bursar’s Office in 2008.  Paula was a baseball and softball mom and grandma; her love of baseball showed through with the “Lauramie” Booster Club.  She was a supporter of her grandchildren’s sports and also followed other children in the community.

In addition to her husband, Paula is survived by two sons, Clint (Michelle) Adams and Chad Adams, both of Clarks Hill; seven grandchildren, Hope, Zach, Blaze, Klara, Emma, Lizzie, and Logan.

Visitation for Paula will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Clarks Hill Cemetery.  Memorials in Paula’s name may be made to James Cole Elementary School in Stockwell.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
