Pauline Weinbrecht

Pauline Weinbrecht, 83 of Muncie, formerly of Colfax, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was born March 17, 1934 in Colfax to Donald and Margaret (Helfenbein) Ferguson.

Pauline was a part of Good Sam’s Camping Club in Brownsburg and enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers and NASCAR racing; Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson, in particular.  She enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning.  Pauline loved family gatherings and especially spending time with her grandsons and great-grandson.

Surviving family includes two sons, Danny Jay Weinbrecht of Omaha, Nebraska and Mike (Jennifer) Weinbrecht of Camby; one daughter, Carlena (Rick) Fulkerson of Muncie; 4 grandsons; 1 great-grandson; Pauline’s two brothers, Harold Ferguson of Mulberry and Millard Ferguson of Colfax and one sister, Helen Maxwell of Lafayette.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Roger C. Weinbrecht, Jr., who passed away in 2006, and by her 11 siblings.

Visitation will be held from Noon until 2:00p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.  A graveside service will begin at 3:00p.m following the visitation on Thursday at Plainview Cemetery in Colfax.  Donations in memory of Pauline may be made to ICAN (Indiana Canine Assistant Network, 5610 Crawfordsville Rd Suite 2101, Indianapolis, IN 46224) or Delaware County Special Olympics (PO Box 176, Muncie, IN 47308).
