Pearl Mae Myers, 91, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Mulberry Health & Rehabilitation.
Born July 24, 1933, in Clinton County, Pearl Mae was the daughter of Harold W. & Lucy Elizabeth (Wattles) Lipp. Pearl Mae graduated from Frankfort High School. On December 5, 1952, she married Verrill H. Myers, who preceded her in death on May 31, 2006.
Pearl Mae was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She taught baton lessons for 40 years, was a former chairperson for Clinton County March of Dimes, and also enjoyed her years as both a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She was a member at First Baptist Church where she also attended ABW Trinity Circle and God & You Sunday School class.
Surviving Pearl Mae are three daughters, Sara Moran, Judy (Brad) Jacks and Linda Brewer, all of Frankfort; one son, Gary (Linda) Myers of Angola; a daughter-in-law, Laura Myers of West Lafayette; a sister, Marilyn Dick of Palm Harbor, FL; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Robert Myers; daughter, Mary Myers; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Lois Lipp; brother-in-law, Dorwin Dick; son-in-law, George Moran; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Services for Pearl Mae will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 12 noon. Pastor David Wickens will officiate. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery.
