Phillip J. Miller, 80, lifelong resident of Frankfort, died on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.
He was born December 28, 1932, in Frankfort, the son of George O. and Bernice Michael Miller.
On April 21, 1956, he married the former Margaret James; she survives.
Phillip retired from the Farmers Bank in 2010 where he worked as mail courier; he was also an agent for Allstate Insurance and worked at Green Lawn Cemetery.
He was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ. He enjoyed golf and Purdue University basketball.
In addition to his wife, Phillip is survived by his children, Lori (Mark) Ploughe, Tony (Angela) Miller, and Lanna (Jason) Pugsley; sisters, Patricia (James) Pogue and Pamela Thompson; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack Miller and Bill Miller; and sisters, Evelyn Louise Miller and Beth Campbell.
A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Green Lawn Mausoleum in Frankfort.
Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
