He demonstrated unflagging support for his family, church and community.  As an adult, he was a Boy Scout leader, Elder, Trustee, and life-long member of Geetingsville Presbyterian Church.
Wilson operated the WLC Company, a family business that started in 1936, in Sedalia, Indiana.  Though the business started by supplying the small family farm;  a variety of other equipment such as cooling fans, pressure washers, hoses and hydraulics were added as small farms declined.
Phil also found a rock-solid partner in his wife of 27 years Barbara Anderson Wilson, who joined him in business and in parenting two children from his previous marriage and the three she brought into the marriage.
Phil is preceded in death by his father, a brother Maj. Alan Wilson, and step-son Phillip Todd Williams.
