Phyllis C. Lowery

Phyllis C. Lowery, 89, of Lafayette, formerly of Flora, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Creasy Springs Health Campus.  She was born November 11, 1928 in Logansport to Fred and Elizabeth (Vitello) Tocco.  She was a 1947 graduate of Logansport High School.  She married the late Don Lowery on January 8, 1950.  She worked for 20 years at Pioneer Hybrid in the office.  Phyllis was a member of Living Faith Church of the Brethren, and a past member of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed volunteering her time to various groups and activities, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Tina (David) Albaugh of Flora; grandchildren, Chris (Emily) Albaugh and Shelby (Adam) Harness; and great grandchildren, Jaden, Alli, Kadelyn and Brynlee Harness.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eugene Tocco.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2018 from 10am until the time of the service at 12pm at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora.  Pastor Jeff Tomson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
