Ralph “Dean” Titus, 73, of Flora, died at Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at his home.

He was born January 5, 1939, in Cass County, the son of the late Charles and Julia Martin Titus.

On April 13, 1957, he married the former Sharon Lee Stephenson; she survives in Flora.

Dean worked as a service manager for Mann Chevrolet in Flora, and later worked for Delphi Limestone.  He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Flora Masonic Lodge, and Only the Best Club with Chevrolet.  Dean enjoyed farming especially raising cattle and his two donkeys.  He was also very active in Boy Scouts with his sons.

Also surviving are two sons, Michael and Penny Titus and Scott Dean Titus, both of Flora; one brother, Keith and Nancy Titus of Whitestown; two sisters, Carol Lawrence of Franklin, and Jeananne and Randy Forgey; three grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt) Kilty, Misty Titus, and Annie Titus; one great grandchild, Titus Kilty; cousins, Charles Arthur Martin and Mary Ann Berkshire; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at Genda Funeral Home-Reinke Chapel in Flora.

Funeral service for Dean will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012, at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry DeVos officiating.

Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.

Memorials in Dean’s name may be made to Flora Fire Department or Carroll County Community Foundation.
