Ralph Price

Ralph E. Price, 82, Frankfort, died at 10:05 p.m. Feb. 22, 2011 in the St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital emergency room.

Mr. Price was born on Nov. 17. 1928 in Blue Rock, Ohio, to Lorence and Erma (Swingle) Price. He married Colleen Leonard on Aug. 9, 1953 and she survives.

He worked at General Battery for 43 years, retired in 1990, and worked for Remington Seed after retirement. He moved to Frankfort from Ohio in 1968. He graduated Philo High School, served in U.S. Army during the Korean War, 1950-52, PFC, enjoyed bowling and antiquing.

Surviving with his wife of Frankfort are two daughters, Vickie S. (husband Alvin, Jr.) Pilotte, Frankfort and Jacqueline Ann Burkhead, Las Vegas, Nevada; one sister, Wava Hochstetler, Duncan Falls, Ohio; and one brother, Warren Price, Zanesville, Ohio.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011 at Genda Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Fisher officiating. Burial will occur at Green Lawn Cemetery. Calling will occur from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 at the funeral home.
